LOIN BROTHERS

The Loin Brothers are Long John Saliva and Paradise Lost's DJ Silvio Mysterio... rumored to have been raised in the backroom of a Sydney leather club on a diet of strobe lighting, throbbing sub bass and lube. Fuzz guitar and exotic synthesizers make up the loins musical arsenal, combined with a penchant for pork spare ribs and heavy petting.

The Loins catapult vintage psychedelic grooves into the land of classic disco, hand-washing the result with extraterrestrial sounds sourced from distant tropical worlds. Long term fans of the duo have been known to develop insatiable sexual appetites and are rumoured to retreat to the bush every full moon to engage in violent primitive rituals of a frightening pornographic nature.

They've released two stonkingly good 12" singles on Sydney label Future Classic to galaxy-wide acclaim: 'Garden of Vargulf' turned the heads of the nu-disco scene's big wigs and was played on TBD's Beats In Space, whilst the Mock & Toof remix of their debut single 'Heavy Helmet' made its way onto Ivan Smaaghe's 'Live At Robert Johnson' recording. With records in hand the lads have shown support in tight shorts for legends like DJ Harvey, The Revenge, Eric Duncan, Maurice Fulton, Greg Wilson and paddocks more. They're Sydney's finest agricultural disco duo by a country mile.
